A Puppy Game is for life not just for Christmas

Lovely Indie Dev teams up with Humble Bundle to give their games up for GamesAid

19 th December 2013, somewhere in the South West of England:

Ever wondered what Indie games devs do at Christmas time? Far from stuffing turkeys and flaming Christmas puddings, the noble folk at Puppygames will be supporting their entire games catalogue right the way through until Boxing Day. And all for charity. And that charity is GamesAid!

Indie game fans, bored with endless TV repeats, presents they didn’t really want and visits from infuriating relatives can immerse themselves in the wonders of Droid Assault, Ultratron, Titan Attacks and Revenge of the Titans. Plus the Ultratron OST, the 14-track LP debut of Allicorn's most banging hardcore electronic dance music (complete with sinister overtones and special appearances from Central Nexus); and the Revenge of the Titans EP, six tracks of awesome guitar/synth classical music from Strange And Delicious.

Caspian Prince, one half of Puppygames said, ‘To get the ‘Christmas spot’ with Humble is awesome. We wanted to work with GamesAid because Ian Livingstone did a talk a while back which we saw and we were impressed with the work that GamesAid does with loads of small charities. We really hope we can raise some money for these kids at Christmas.’

Ian Livingstone, GamesAid trustee and games industry veteran, added, ‘When Cas asked me to record the voice over for the promo video, I could not wait to get behind the microphone to do my Terry Wogan impersonation! Cas and Chaz are really talented Indie developers and their support of GamesAid through this bundle is brilliant. I hope gamers everywhere will want to buy Puppygames’ fantastic collection of games and music in support of a great cause.’

About Puppygames

Puppygames has been making independent desktop PC games since 2002. A tiny studio based in the UK, we survive on pies and ale bought from the generous support of our tiny niche customer base. We sprinkle our games with a typically British sense of humour, which is like Mr Bean.

About GamesAid

GamesAid is a UK based video games charity (Registered UK Charity  # 1081706) which acts as an umbrella to support a number of smaller charities who help disadvantaged and disabled children and young people.

It is a non-trading body, administered by Trustees who operate on a fixed term basis run by a chairman who is also appointed on a fixed term. As the only fully democratic charity in the games space, members of the games industry propose and vote for the charities of their choice annually.

The charities who get the top number of votes then get an equal share of all the monies raised that year, proving that games and gamers can do great things for others
