Former chief exec Clive Downie resigns
DeNa West has named Shintaro Asako as its new CEO, effective immediately.
Asako replaces former CEO Clive Downie at the helm following his resignation form the firm. Downie had been leading the company since October 2012.
Asako will manage the publisher's day-to-day operations in the Western market.
The new CEO previously held the role of chief financial officer at the company, a position he had held since 2011.
Mobile firm DeNa runs social game platform Mobage in Japan and the West, and has also developed titles such as Ninja Royale, Blood Brothers and HellFire.
