Annual Community Licence also made free for a limited time
Marmalade has made its iOS to Android porting tool Juice available for all developers to use.
Marmalade Juice lets game creators recompile their Objective-C code for Android to get their games ready for Google Play and the Amazon App Store.
Once compiled developers can work within the Marmalade SDK, which enables them to maintain a single codebase as well as the option to target other platforms in future.
The new tool is available to SDK owners at no extra cost.
Marmalade Juice was announced at GDC last year, but up until now the firm had worked on titles using the tool itself.
"Adding Marmalade Juice to our powerful SDK means that at last developers have an easy way to extend from iOS to the now dominant Android market, using technology from a company that has grown up with mobile gaming," said Marmalade CEO Harvey Elliott.
"The release of Marmalade Juice underlines the long established aims of Marmalade in ensuring that operating across platforms can be a sustainable strategy for the developer and the industry as a whole.”
As well as releasing Juice, Marmalade has also made its annual Community Licence free for a limited time for developers who use the code GDCFREE.
