XBOX Music Program/ Schedule Manager

OPM’s client is seeking a Music Program/ Schedule Manager  who will develop and lead music  projects on the X1 and 360 platforms. You will be part of a high-performing multi-disciplined Commerce team.

The role is to drive the editorial strategy for key programmes and projects on the X1 and 360 consoles across all relevant EMEA markets as well as oversee content and creative execution of Xbox Live Dashboard promotions across EMEA.

This position requires superior communication, project management and user experience knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a passion for & knowledge of gaming and of Music including  Xbox, coupled with solid experience of developing and evangelizing a vision for engaging content, customer first approach and editorial management experience.

You will possess superb workload management and cross-group collaboration skills, be a strong and effective communicator. In addition, deep experience in online publishing or digital entertainment production, and a proven track record of working cross-division and cross-region.



  • Execute weekly music programming for all Xbox Music platforms (Windows PC & Tablets, Phones, Xbox Consoles, Web, etc) that is timely, targeted to Microsoft audience and appropriately meets business & programming objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day communication with music labels across EMEA
  • Identify, review & publish key weekly music content priorities in ~3 EMEA markets
  • Build and coordinate weekly publishing calendar with new releases and features per locale
  • Create curated music playlists per locale
  • Manage artist artwork sourcing & design requests (acquisition & requests for processing)
  • Support global music promotions through in-app programming
  • Work with ingestion team and maintain our running list of priority releases (Rolling 90)
  • Work within deadlines and processes created to ensure on-time publishing
  • Modify automated programming when needed

  • Perform live QA'ing of content on a recurrent basis



  • Music expertise, local music expertise a plus
  • Ability to work in technical and ambiguous environment
  • International and/or remote experience is preferred
  • Understanding of the digital entertainment business and competitive services in the space, including pricing & offers, subscription models and mobile operator partnerships preferred
  • Excellent partner management, organizational, communication and cross-collaboration skills
  • Fluency in additional European language is a plus
