My client is a household name and one of the leading games companies in the world. With a goal to make a wealth of products that completely changes the definition of home entertainment.

They are now looking for a Support Engineer to join their team.

Overview of the job:

The role involves supporting partners using my client's technology used in a number of multimedia video streaming applications of platforms. You will be part of a small team composed of other software engineers based in London.

Job Responsibilities:

? Development and testing of required features and software components within framework.
? Supporting partners using our technology.
? Building and updating framework samples, test script and documentation.
? Keeping implementation on target to meet a tight schedule.
? Integrating the framework with other application components being designed and implemented on parallel schedules.
? Working closely with other technology teams responsible for middleware components within the framework.

Skills and Experience required:

? Good knowledge in C/C++.
? Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with different groups both inside and outside of the company.
? Excellent process/analytical skills.
? Ability to work to strict deadlines without direct supervision.
? Experience of Web development

Desirable Experience:

? Experience of programming on game consoles or other real-time/embedded platforms.
? Experience with source code revision control (Perforce preferred).
