The Rivalcade Overwatch Rumble is the latest tournament to offer North American teams the chance to win some extra money online.
$10,000 is on the line, which while not massive is certainly a welcome in NA scene. The NA scene for Overwatch has been limited to say the least, with big money tournaments few and far between.
The competition will feature the top North American teams, with Team EnVyUs, Rogue, Immortals, LG Evil, Cloud9, Selfless, Splyce, and compLexity all receiving an invitation to the competition. Another eight teams will come through the qualifiers to make it a sixteen team competition.
The sixteen teams will compete in a group stage that starts on April 22nd. They will be split into four groups of four that will feature round robin best of three competition. The top two teams from each group will then move onto the double elimination bracket.
