Israeli-founded SupersonicAds sees future in brand interaction

In-game ad firm opens London HQ in European push

SupersonicAds, the once-Israeli-based advert group that specialises in virtual currencies, is moving its headquarters to London in a new bid to expand its business across Europe.

The company partners with developers by placing targeted advert offers on mobile and social games. These offers give players virtual in-game currency for taking part. If a player takes part, the advertiser pays SupersonicAds, which in turn pays the developer.

SupersonicAds has enjoyed steady business with its customisable, plug-and-play payment model, and sees Europe as the next big market in its global persuits.

“We’ve opened our London office because of overwhelming demand from Publishers, Ad agencies and brands,” said SupersonicAds CEO Gil Shoham.

“We believe that introducing major brands to the virtual currency ecosystem is a huge opportunity. The virtual currency audience is young, sophisticated and trendy – the perfect fit for brands wishing to win mindshare with their target verticals.

“We believe that the next 12 months in virtual currency will see a significant shift away from the simple aggregation of performance marketing offers. The future is about creating new ways for brands to interact with audiences. Our goal is to meaningfully engage our players in a safe and trusted environment, increase value for our publishers, and generate valuable exposure for our advertisers.”

As well as its new London HQ, SupersonicAds keeps with it satellite offices in the US and Israel.
