Expo gathers shape

Consumer games site Eurogamer has announced the addition of four major publishers to the line-up for its upcoming Expo 2009 scheduled for this October.

Fresh on board are Sony, Microsoft, EA and Ubisoft, all of whom will be bringing playable titles. Publishers already signed up include Eidos, Sega, Capcom, Konami, 2K Games, Bethesda, Namco Bandai and Deep Silver.

This year’s event will for the first time take place in two separate locations – the Leeds gathering is happening at The Royal Armouries on 27th-28th October, whilst the London event, hosted at Old Billingsgate, takes place on 30th-31st October.

We’ve got some fantastic games on show and ticket sales are miles ahead of last year,” Eurogamer MD Rupert Loman stated. With such great support from the industry we’re on course to making the Eurogamer Expo the UK’s best gaming event.”

Confirmed titles for the show floor include Halo 3: ODST, Assassin’s Creed 2, Borderlands, Tekken 6, Dante’s Inferno, Aliens vs Predator and Left 4 Dead 2.

Tickets are available right here.
