Underwater Action-Adventure Climbs To The Surface

[span style="font-size: 10pt;"]Games developer IronSun Studio is proud to announce some really exciting updates to its‘Fathom’ project - a highly unique 2.5D underwater action-adventure combining the very best of puzzle solving and exploration all wrapped in a gorgeous and visually unique Steampunk environment![/span]

Currently a‘Staff Pick’ on the KickStarter site,‘Fathom’ has you playing the role of Nathaniel Lockhart, a shipwrecked Victorian adventurer of the 1870’s who is lost at sea in the Caribbean. Lockart has no memories of the events surrounding the shipwreck, but has visions of a mysterious design for an underwater craft called the Bathysphere and recurring nightmares of a mysterious craft that violently attacked his vessel leading to the shipwreck. Obsessed with the idea that this is the only way he can find answers to the mystery, Lockart pools his resources to build the machine and mounts an expedition back to the murky waters that haunt his every thought. Lockhart must build and master the mysterious underwater craft and ultimately take control of Atlantis, repairing the broken machines of the Atlanteans and solving their ancient puzzles to uncover the mystery.

IronSun Studios are busy at work on the games second level, which will eventually become the first playable level in the finished game, and have unveiled exclusive visuals to give players a sneak-peak of the progress! Furthermore, work has begun on the games third level, and surprising details of the background story will be revealed to the community soon! Other exciting news includes 3 new pledge tiers for the digital version of the game, and a new audio snippet from the incredible score. Finally, the projects FAQ has been updated to include popular community questions concerning the platforms on which‘Fathom’ will be available.
