IT’S ALL TO PLAY FOR IN THE CONSOLE WARS

PADDY POWER PRESS RELEASE

(21 February 2013) Following the much anticipated launch of the Playstation 4, Paddy Power are now taking bets on which console will come out on top in the sales stakes between the PS4 and the Xbox 720.

The bookie makes the Playstation their 8/13 favourites to outsell the Xbox 720 in 2013 with Microsoft’s effort available at 6/5 to sell more units than its rival.

Paddy Power are also taking bets on which of the consoles will have the most computational power. Here, the Japanese company are also believed to have the edge at 2/5 with the Xbox 720 considered a 7/4 shot to outgun the PS4 in terms of power.

A spokesperson for Paddy Power said“The Playstation 4 has received plenty of well worn thumbs up from gamers but while Sony currently have the edge it’s still all to play for in the console wars!”

Meanwhile, Paddy Power have also opened the betting on who will be the first celebrity to wear Google Glass which was also launched yesterday making Ashton Kutcher the favourite at 3/1.
