Perfect World sponsored event raises $42K for Child’s Play

Perfect World team is pleased to share some great news! 2012 was the most successful year yet for the annual Rock Band charity event Ümloud!, raising over $42,000 dollars for Child’s Play . On December 6th, 2012 Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios joined forces with Natural Selection 2 developer Unknown Worlds Entertainment, famed game designer and Double Fine Productions founder Tim Schafer, and hundreds of generous gamers at San Francisco’s DNA Lounge for a night of rock‘n’ roll and fundraising.

In addition to performances by headliner band Forever Alone, Together and special guest French KISS, industry professionals and members of the press were treated to personalized walkthroughs through the Blackdagger Ruins adventure zone.

All proceeds fromÜmloud! will support children’s hospitals around the world, helping to improve the quality of life for a new generation of gamers.
