Mass Effect&Mirror’s Edge Fine Art Collections Announced

Art dealership Cook&Becker, in conjunction with leading game development studios BioWare&DICE, presents a curated selection of original digital art prints from Mass Effect and Mirror’s Edge.

The production of these museum-grade Certified Art Giclees™ is a joint initiative by BioWare, DICE and Cook&Becker to celebrate the art and design of these seminal game titles. The prints are meant to present the digitally created art in the best possible way. The collections are aimed at contemporary art collectors and enthusiasts and are exclusively available in a one of kind limited edition.

Mass Effect Art

Blending world-class shooter combat with interactive, cinematic storytelling and space exploration, the Mass Effect series is one of the most highly decorated franchises in the history of games, having earned over 300 awards from critics around the world. Mass Effect 3 launched in March 2012 to universal critical acclaim, receiving over 90 perfect scores.

The Mass Effect fine art collection consists of several concept artworks that have been produced as Certified Art Giclees™. All prints are proofed and hand-numbered and signed by Mass Effect’s art director Derek Watts, Lead Writer Mac Walters and executive producer Casey Hudson.

Mirror’s Edge Art

Mirror’s Edge was a landmark title upon its release in 2008. The game is known for its unique and stunning art direction and for pioneering physicality and improved movement in first-person perspective (FP) games. The fine art collection consists of several concept artworks from Mirror’s Edge that have been produced as Certified Art Giclees™. All prints are hand-numbered and proofed and signed by Mirror´s Edge art director Johannes Söderqvist.

All giclees from both collections come with a signed, dated and numbered Certificate of Authenticity plus a lifelong warranty to the original buyer. The prints are available either unframed or with Cook&Becker’s bespoke Dibond Liquid Gloss or Dibond Diasec + Acrylic glass finishes. [div]
