CoLD SToRAGE re-masters his original WipEout (SCEE) music for new album "SLIPSTREAM [ Volume One ]".

Tim Wright (aka. CoLD SToRAGE) has re-worked all his musical contributions for WipEout, WipEout 2097 and WipEout Pure, to be released on at least two volumes. SLIPSTREAM [ Volume One ] officially launches today, and reviews so far have been excellent.

Wright says;

“For many years now I've been getting requests via e-mail, Facebook, Twitter and messages on my website to release the WipEout music on CD or as a download at full quality. Some of the WipEout tracks have been available for download at medium quality MP3, but I thought it was about time I did them justice and re-released them at the best quality possible.

To this end, I have taken all the tracks and individually re-engineered them at 64bit. This process involves multiple steps; re-E.Q.ing, multi-band compression, spatial enhancement and in some cases remaking certain parts of the track, for example to improve fade-in or fade-out.

I am really pleased with the new mixes for SLIPSTREAM [ Volume One ] - they have brought to life the fine detail that wasn't easily heard in the originals. The response from initial audiences has been more than I could have hoped for too, and the messages I've been sent so far have been massively encouraging! I'm really looking forward to re-mastering more tracks for the next Volume in the series.”
