‘Grumble and Piccolo’s Fishing Trip’ sets sail for Smartphone and Tablet Devices

Liverpool, UK– 2 ^nd October 2012 - Mobile games publisher, Thumbstar Games, is delighted to announce the impending arrival of Grumble and Piccolo’s Fishing Trip’ for iOS and Android devices.

Grumble&Piccolo are two adventurous penguins with a sense of entrepreneurship. They’ve set up their own fishing business, and must set sail to catch an intriguing variety of fish for some very bizarre customers!

To assist them, players must catch fish into their net in groups of three or more. Familiar and beautifully responsive swipe controls make this a lovely pick-up-and-play for match-3 enthusiasts, but there’s even more to the gameplay with the addition of some rather interesting fishing tools.

Fishing Trip offers increasingly complex gameplay, with certain criteria to be met each round, and set amounts of money to be garnered from each fish type caught.  With two lovable characters and a comical story driving the game forward, Fishing Trip offers a fully rounded take on the much-loved game genre, and makes for a lovely introduction to newcomers. 

Fishing Trip is Thumbstar’s eighth published mobile gaming title this year, and developed by the rather talented Fairplay Media. Lead by key gaming figures Martin and Gareth Edmondson, Thumbstar’s list of published titles this year continues to grow in terms of quality and variety.
