Ludei lets CAAT out of the bag

Ludei will unviel its new game engine The CAAT, at Casual Connect in Seattle tomorrow.
The Canvas Advanced Animation Toolkit employs an arsenal of pre-designed code snippets Ludei says will greatly accelerate development.
"The CAAT has always been our secret weapon, quietly sitting in the background of our development stack, waiting to be set free on developers," said Ludei President Joe Monastiero.
"It basically completes version one of our platform: CocoonJS for API acceleration and enhancement, the cloud compiler for cross-platform builds, our monetization engine for bridging native payments and ad networks, and now our CAAT game engine."

The CAAT engine is open source, and works with Canvas, CSS and WebGL.
The engine offers a complete gaming framework, featuring on-screen entities, custom matrix stacks, game loop hooks, scenes, scene transitions, affine transformations, pixel perfect on-screen entity identification, complex paths, assignable behaviors and seamless Box2d integration.
