Prime minister backs Special Effect as charity expands its facility
David Cameron today opened a new fully accessible video games room at GamesAid-backed charity SpecialEffect - and commended the games industry's support for the scheme.
SpecialEffect is based in the prime minister's Oxfordshire constituency and he spent nearly an hour meeting staff as well as enjoying a quick game of Gran Turismo 5 against Shaz Hossain, who suffers from cerebal palsy. He lost, heavily.
Cameron commented: "This is an extraordinary centre that does amazing things and it's a real pleasure for me to be here.
