Only Euro site dedicated to studios hits 105,000 uniques; iPhone app next
The essential website for producers, programmers, artists and musicians has recorded its highest traffic to date.
Latest metrics from Google Analytics show that unique users during July totalled 105,506.
Page views were even more impressive, at 269,050. Another record, this figure demonstrates strong interaction and engagement with the site by its visitors.
Readers by territory during July were Western Europe 48.1 per cent, North America 35.2 per cent, Asia 7.5 per cent, Eastern Europe 2.8 per cent plus South Africa, Australia and others at 6.4 per cent.
Further growth of the site is expected through the second half of the year, aided by the launch of an iPhone app featuring all Develop's online content from September.
"Develop is unique in that it is totally targeted at games development. We're delighted that real developers and development-orientated businesses are being compelled to come back regularly to read stories, gain insight and participate in debate," said Develop publisher and Intent Media boss Stuart Dinsey.
"There are lots of excellent games sites out there, business and consumer, so for Develop Online to have carved out such a targeted and dedicated readership is quite something. We have a great editorial team in Michael French, Rob Crossley, Will Freeman and Stuart Richardson.
"We shall kick on from here and continue to grow readers in the UK, Europe and beyond. The iPhone app is looking great too. It will be free, easy to use and jammed full of content. It will be essential for anyone in the development business who uses that device."
