Gamebryo to fuel Splatterhouse

Next-gen revival powered by Emergent's engine
BottleRocket, the developer of the next-gen revival of the Splatterhouse franchise, has chosen to use Gamebryo for several upcoming titles.
The San Diego-based studio picked Emergent's engine due to its easily-extendible architecture and the ability to quickly prototype and deploy those prototypes across multiple platforms.
“Gamebryo provides an extremely flexible architecture that can be used to develop games in a wide variety of genres,” said Rich Karpp, director of technology at BottleRocket Entertainment.
“Thanks to Emergent’s responsive support and up to date technology, Gamebryo allowed us to get up to speed on multiple platforms quickly so we can concentrate on creating the best game possible.”
