SG Lab title to be promoted on Tokyo Municipal home page
SG Lab has revealed details on its new game, designed to teach parents about potential dangers to infants in regular households, Famitsu reports.
The studio was set up in 2006 by Square Enix and educational publisher Gakken to produce serious games and advergames. In addition to this project, the company has also made advertising games for companies such as Suntory and educational games on topics like money and recycling.
The game, whose title can be translated as 'Find and Protect! Nearby Dangers to Children ~ Training Software for the Prevention of Accidents to Infants', challenges players to detect dangers to children of four different growth stages. A web version of the game has been placed on the Tokyo Health & Welfare Department's website, and a DVD version of the game is being used by administrative staff in clinics within the Tokyo metropolitan area.
