Jump nabs Manchester Utd. license for $100m

Mobile developer becomes 'official mobile partner' of club
Mobile studio Jump Games has obtained the global licence to design, develop and distribute mobile games based on the Manchester United brand - and reports peg the price at $100 million, says Business Standard.
Jump, which is owned by Indian media company Reliance Entertainment, plans on globally releasing six Manchester United-branded titles within 2008, starting with Manchester United Word It.
Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United manager, said: “All of us, are delighted in our new arrangement with Jump Games. I think it's a fantastic venture. And to all our fans all over the world it's an opportunity to get yourselves involved in it.”
