Sign the perfect publishing deal

We've just posted the latest column from our design expert The Alpenwolf online, offering advice on how to cope with signing the right development deal and coping should your publisher hit problems.

"Development houses have lifespans, just like every other form of corporate entity, and having a publisher who is both fair and financially stable is one of the key components of extending that lifespan," says our expert.

Outlining  four key pieces of advice, he adds that smaller publishers should never be discounted, make sure you keep your contact book up to date, maintain good relationships with publishers, and make sure you research their financial claims.
