New prize to encourage XNA developers

Microsoft is backing a new competition designed to encourage take up of its XNA Game Studio Express tool.
Ocean Odyssey is a new contenst hosted by XNA-UK.net, and it invites players to contribute to the development of a game in producing artwork, music or gameplay code. Prizes include a number of Microsoft products such as Vista and Xbox 360s – with a day-long placement at Rare also up for grabs.
The competition is open now for art and sound, while the coding element takes place across 48 hours - on 15th June code requirements will be announced and hopeful homebrew developers will be instructed to spend two days building the necessary components.
