NEoN Digital Arts Festival

NEoN is a ground-breaking digital arts festival that will showcase the world’s best technologies, studios and artists from the interactive, online, videogame, music, movie, broadcast and digital media sectors.

NEoN will light up the city of Dundee on 12th and 15th November 2009. The festival will play host to a series of forums, seminars, screenings, workshops, installations and performance from professionals and artists worldwide.

NEoN will have something for everyone. Small, high growth start-ups, indie developers, creators, designers, writers, producers, coders, artists, animators, fans, players, gamers, viewers, readers and students will all get something new, useful and exciting from the festival.

NEoN will help companies, individuals and organisations to expand their knowledge, find inspiration and turn their ideas into reality. Everyone will be able to learn more about the evolution and growth of the digital media market, pool ideas with other like-minded individuals, network, socialise, meet and learn from industry leaders, creative artists, entrepreneurs and other experts.

The festival will be split into three very different areas, ensuring that there’s something for everyone - regardless of involvement in the industry. The first strand will focus on the industry with workshops, seminars and sessions designed to inform, educate and entertain those working within, or wishing to join the digital media sector. The second strand will prove more accessible to the larger, more casual community – including players, gamers, viewers and anyone interested in the future of digital media.
