Los Angeles, November 27, 2012 - Game composer Winifred Phillips has been awarded a 2012 Hollywood Music in Media Award for her music score for the Assassin's Creed? III Liberation video game (Ubisoft?).
Phillips' original score for Assassin's Creed III Liberation has been described as "superb" by GameZone, "killer music" by MTV Multiplayer, "spectacular" by Hard Reset, "sweeping" by IGN, "fantastic" by Gaming Examiner, and "a stealthy success" by Kotaku. PikiGeek and Artastic Gaming hailed Phillips' score as one of the best soundtracks of 2012.
The music of the game was released as an official soundtrack by Ubisoft Music. The soundtrack is comprised of 26 tracks totaling 68 minutes of music, and is available on iTunes, Amazon.com and other online retailers. The Hollywood Music in Media Award ceremony was held on November 15, 2012 at the Fonda Theater in Hollywood.
