- Digital book is available now for iPad and in-browser

London - July 26th, 2013
A brand-new book published today names the top 100 games development studios working in the UK.
The Develop 100 is written by the team behind Develop ( www.develop-online.net), the must-read monthly magazine and website for games developers across Europe and around the world.
Plus, the free book includes a comprehensive list of all the games studios in the Great Britain - the first time a directory like this has been made widely available.nbsp;
A survey of studios on the list showed that smartphones and PC/Mac were the most popular platforms to make games for. 4 out of every 5 UK games studios are making games for iPad or iPhone and over half are making games for PC.nbsp;
Other key findings in the research show that 113 new UK games studios opened for business in the last 18 months, with games dev clusters in London and Scotland.
Develop 100 is published in association with Ukie, the UK games trade body for publishers and developers.
The Develop 100 can be found within the Develop magazine app on the Apple Newsstand.
