Updated Version Of Hardcore FPS & RPG Hybrid ‘Strife’ Now Available On The iOS® App Store

San Francisco, California, February 27 th 2014: Independent games developer ‘Javier M. Chavez’ is proud to announce the release of an update to ‘Strife’ on the iOS® app store. Originally a PC game based on the Doom™ engine in 1996, followed by a release on Mac OS™, the updated iOS® version offers an action-packed gameplay experience featuring the very best of classic FPS and RPG action!

After a comet strikes the earth wiping out most of the human race, a fanatical religious cult named "The Order" has taken complete control of the world. Plagues, famine, wars and other disasters have followed in the steps of this organization, and a rebel group calling themselves the Front has been formed against the oppressive rulers. This is where you come in. With its addictive and immersive gameplay you must fight against the resistance or side with “The Order” overlords, or go alone. You can change the course of humanity by destroying the alien overlords, or bring about the end of the human race should you fail!

Featuring an original, engaging story with 3 possible endings and a unique distinctive visual style, ‘Strife’ offers a vast seamless world to explore with a plethora of challenging quests to solve. Different situations call for different approaches and you can go guns blazing or use strategy to succeed. Increased stamina and accuracy improves your arsenals blast range, and in-game currency allows for upgradable weaponry.

‘Strife’ is available for download on the iOS® app store from here:
