Unity Technologies Expands First Wave of Games on Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY™Through Its Union Distribution Service

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - April 20, 2011 - Unity Technologies, today announced the first wave of Unity-based games to appear on the Sony Ericsson Xperia™ PLAY smartphone via Union. Union is a business unit of Unity Technologies dedicated to bringing high quality 3D games on mobile phones, tablets, app stores, set-top boxes, connected TVs and other emerging new platforms.

The first wave of Unity-based games releases announced during the Sony Ericsson Xperia™ PLAY launch included Racer by Luma Arcade, Guerrilla Bob by Angry Mob Studios and AirAttack HD by Art in Games. Additionally, two Unity-based games are now available through the Xperia PLAY store: the action-packed 3D shooter Battle Bears -1 developed by SkyVu Pictures and the robotic puzzler Cordy by Silver Tree Studios. Each release has been?optimized for the Xperia™ PLAY through a dedicated API created by Unity Technologies.
