With over 5 million mobile downloads and over 25 million web plays, Crash drive 1 proofed itself worthy of a successor. This sequel is now about to launch and has improved on every front. Crash Drive 2 offers a unique multiplayer sandbox racing experience.
What makes Crash Drive 2 stand out is the fact that this game does not force you to do anything, instead it merely invites you to be entertained. This freedom is the very foundation of the game. M2H did not forget that the majority of the players still need to have some goals presented to them, that’s why there’s the random event system which spawns random events in which all players will compete.
The multiplayer side of Crash Drive 2 is worth noting. The multiplayer is cross platform; Mac, Linux, Windows, iOS, Android and Web will all compete against each other. Players are automatically matchmaked and thanks to the cross platform there are always loads of players to play with.
Crash Drive 2 will launch on mobile and web in November. For the higher quality standalone versions of the game M2H is running a Steam Greenlight campaign over at http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=190279143.
M2H is a game studio run by two indie brothers Matt and Mike Hergaarden. M2H specialises in innovative multiplayer games: better and easier multiplayer matchmaking, unique co-op gameplay and so on. Their (previous) success stories are Verdun (recently launched on Steam Early Access), Crash Drive 1, Highway Rally and Cubelands.
