London, 19 December 2007– Turner Broadcasting has today announced that it has extended its agreement with award-winning mobile media company Player X to distribute a raft of new Turner mobile games in 2008.
Under the terms of the deal, Player X will exclusively distribute Turner Broadcasting games, ringtones and wallpapers to 30 European territories including the UK, France, Germany and Russia. These properties include Scooby Doo: Saving Shaggy, Hong Kong Phooey: Kung Fu Capers, Dexter’s Laboratory: Brain Reaction and Cow and Chicken: Super Cow Adventure.
The shows are hugely popular on Turner Broadcasting kids’ channels– Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Cartoon Network Too– and the games replicate this content by taking the features loved by the TV viewers to a completely new audience.

The announcement follows Player X's recent moves in ramping up its presence in the mobile games market. These efforts were recognised earlier this year when it was selected as a Finalist for the prestigious 2007 Red Herring Top 100 Awards.
