Athens, Greece - Cazual Games today is pleased to introduce Toy Balls! 1.0 for iOS, their new game where players swipe three or more adjacent toy balls of the same kind, as an endless supply of eight different kinds of balls flow through ingenious, dynamic wooden puzzle boards. Game play requires players to swipe matches, removing them from the board, and scoring points depending on the number of balls. Players must swipe across adjacent identical balls, a process called chaining, as quickly and accurately as possible, before the puzzle board overflows and any ball is destroyed by an electro-zapper. Featuring ultra-realistic, slow motion game physics, balls are all the same size, but each type has its own mass and elasticity, governing its behavior under the influence of gravity, and the outcome of complex collisions. The game has over 30 unlockable levels and Game Center leader boards and achievements.

The splash screen of most iOS games consists of titles and graphics, sometimes an animation or buttons. But the splash screen for Toy Balls! is simultaneously a complete working explanation of the entire game, and an endlessly fascinating machine where balls fall, one by one, down a waterfall of pivoting, differently weighted cantilevers and are destroyed in a zap of electricity. Meticulously constructed entirely of wood, an inclined plane supports the three balanced wood grained cantilevers. One at a time, each ball falls slowly from the top platform onto the first cantilever, causing it to seesaw downward, allowing the ball to continue rolling down onto the second and third levers.

What makes this game so hypnotic is that while all the balls are the same size, they vary in weight and elasticity. As they fall there are unpredictable collisions between balls, between levers, and between balls hitting levers. The result is a classical dance of toy balls, with realistic momentum, mass, rotation, balance, bounce, friction, sliding, action, and reaction. Each of the eight different balls is rendered with beautifully crafted visual details, allowing the viewer to enjoy their rotation and interaction. Different balls include: baseball, marble, wood, solid rubber, hollow rubber, eight-ball, dimpled rubber, and glass.

Feature Highlights:

<*>Innovative game concept <*>Amazingly fluid and realistic physics <*>Totally different gameplay each time a level is played <*>The player must rescue three or more balls by swiping through them <*>Dozens of balls are onscreen, with more added every second <*>Eight different types of balls, each with its own mass and elasticity <*>Intuitive and super easy to pick up controls <*>Easy and straightforward learning process with in-game tutorial <*>30+ fun and challenging levels with a smooth difficulty curve <*>Levels may be played over and over to reach a new high score for that puzzle <*>Balls bounce, slide, collide, rotate, and roll through wooden mechanical mazes <*>Balls must be rescued as quickly as possible to prevent any from falling into the electro-zapper <*>Game Center achievements and leader-boards

Played in landscape mode only, choosing Play brings up the Select A Level Screen and the player's total points. In addition to a Tutorial&Practice level, there are over 30 additional levels, such as Circular Motion, Fan Power, Moving Labyrinth, and Hamster Wheel. Each level is played until the progress bar reaches the far right. The more balls the player saves through chaining the faster the progress bar moves toward its end. Players score points by swiping their finger through adjacent balls of the same type, chaining, even if the balls have a wooden obstacle between them. The links in the chain appear onscreen, and the player lifting their finger causes all the saved balls to explode and vanish. Longer chains score higher points, though in some puzzles it may be better strategy to chain the heaviest or most elastic balls, rather than make the longest chains.

Every level contains a different mechanical puzzle board with moving parts, constructed entirely of wood and provides a new&different game play each time played. There is a continuous flow of new balls into the board providing the mechanical imbalance that powers the puzzle's various moving parts. The gaming engine generates balls in a unique and unrepeatable way in each level. So, even if the same level is played more than once, the gameplay is totally different!

Choosing options from the Main Menu accesses Music on/off, Sound f/x on/off, Select Music Theme, and Enable Game Center features (Leaderboards, Achievements). There are multiple Leaderboards for total score as well as individual levels. Selecting About brings up the game credits and provides a link to the Cazual Games website.

" Toy Balls! is a totally new game concept that entertains the user from the very start of the game play," said Pericles Papageorgiou, Head of Cazual Games. " The casual nature of the game is perfect for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad users seeking a quick hit of fun and action. We are confident it will be even more successful than our previous game, the best-selling Kodix code breaking game."

" Toy Balls! implements the actual physics of toy balls types like baseball, marble, wood, solid rubber, hollow rubber, eight-ball, dimpled rubber, glass, etc., with simple and accurate game controls to navigate around the playing field," said Emilios Tsekouras, Head of Development for Cazual Games. " The game is fully optimized for each type of device and takes full advantage of the Retina display."
