For Immediate Release
A video game developed by UK Indie Distorted Poetry going by the title of 1D Sports has absolutely nothing at all to do with London 2012 Olympic Games (and other LOCOG protected phrases) and everything to do with a return to traditional video game concepts.
1D Sports is? a fresh take on the traditional multi-sports title in the same vein as 80's classics Daley Thompson's Decathlon and Konami's arcade titles Track and Field and Hypersports bring the joys of button bashing and gamer fatigue to a new generation on PC, Mac, iOS and Android.
The event line up and order has been finalised and is being made public for the first time.
All designed to push gamers endurance as well as skill in either single player or multiplayer game modes just like Konami used to make.
In a 1D game all the action is confined to a single line and the players are represented by points of light.? The players can choose to represent the glorious nations of red, green or blue in a single dimensioned decathlon and set world records in the process.? A future free update adds 5 new events as either a 1D pentathlon and a mashup mode.
The game is launching with a short paid beta at 2012 BST 1st August 2012.?
