VirtTrade partners with The Discovery Channel in new family focussed mobile card trading gamep>London - 5th December 2017: VirtTrade is excited to announce the launch of ‘Discovery Card Quest’, a digital trading card game featuring The Discovery Channel’s universe! Covering everything from galaxy clusters to endangered species, and from prehistoric dinosaurs to future tech, Discovery Card Quest is available as a free-to-play app on iOS and Android devices.
Licensed by Discovery Global Enterprises, the licensing arm of Discovery Communications, Discovery Card Quest is a trading card game with over 200 unique collectible cards at launch, and a weekly introduction of new cards to compete and trade with friends.
Just like in the school playground, players can collect or trade cards and play head to head to win treasure. Every card contains a striking image, a ‘scratch card’ area that reveals a Did You Know? fact, and attributes for use in the game. Your deck can be strengthened by matching cards of the same collection or album, and by directly inviting friends to take a peek at their card collections for trading.
New functionality including battles, card fusions, rewards, unlockable content, limited editions, and location based collecting are slated for release within the next six months, unlocking more value in each user’s collection.
