About The Darkside Detective
Detective Francis McQueen is the lead investigator of the criminally underfunded Darkside Division. When evil darkens the doorsteps of Twin Lakes City – hell, even when it just loiters around shop fronts or hangs out in shady alleyways – he’s there, ready to investigate the cases that nobody else will. Come and join Detective McQueen and Officer Dooley as they investigate 6 bizarre cases in this classic point-and-click adventure game, praised for its witty humour and spooky atmosphere.
About Spooky Doorway
Darkside Detective began at the Galway Game Jam in November 2014, as Paul Conway & Christopher Colston made a demo in under 8 hours. After sharing the short prototype online, it proved to be quite popular, convincing the team that there was life in continuing the game. Dave & Tracey McCabe joined the team as writer and programmer respectively while travelling the world, with Ben Prunty coming onboard as a composer. Spooky Doorway was born.
