Ten Indie Game Developers Selected to Game Maker House To Receive Free Housing at IndieCade Festival

LOS ANGELES– Sept. XX, 2011– Ten of the best indie game development studios will be able to attend all events at IndieCade 2011, thanks to the Intel? Software Partner Program, which is committed? to providing resources for the teams in the Game Maker House, a new program of IndieCade.? The developers chosen will be able to take full advantage of the IndieCade Conference.? This includes: speaking at the conference, showing their game at the festival, access to all sessions, networking, clinics and the awards ceremony.???IndieCade will take place Thursday– Sunday, Oct. 6– 9 2011 in downtown Culver City, Calif.

IndieCade brings together independent game developers from all around the world to showcase the future of independent games.? The festival encourages, publicizes and cultivates innovation as well as artistry in interactive media, helping to create a public perception of games as rich, diverse, artistic in addition to culturally significant.? IndieCade is the only stand-alone festival for independent gaming in the United States.? It is in its fourth year and is open to the public.

Registration is open through Brown Paper Tickets and the IndieCade website at www.indiecade.com. While the Festival’s“Game Walk” is open to the public, the full conference costs $195 in advance and $250 at the door. The IndieCade 2011 Conference is intimate and will sell out quickly.
