Tales of Pirates II: The Celtic Heartland Is ToP II’s Ultimate Maze

Players are having a blast in the Tales of Pirates II Closed Beta. The upcoming 3D MMORPG from IGG has attracted virtual pirates from all over the world. They have ventured into uncharted waters to get a glimpse of the treasures and adventures waiting there. Even though the game hasn’t been officially released yet, many players have fought their way up the rope ladder and are now ready to tackle bigger challenges that promise greater riches. As ToP II’s ultimate maze, the Celtic Heartland certainly fits the bill.

A Land of Light and Darkness

The Celtic Heartland is a mysterious realm with its own unique dichotomy. The whole place changes drastically between day and night. When players enter this maze during the day, they will discover the Aurora Area, a place filled with the radiance of light. At night, the Celtic Heartland transforms into the Dark Area, a creepy place where dangers lurk around every corner. When the area switches from light to darkness, so too will the maze layout and the game environment.

Players must be at least level 90 and have completed the Story Quest to gain access to the Celtic Heartland. Once they are worthy, players can obtain teleportation access from North Vile of Icy Lake.

Aurora Area

During daylight hours, the Aurora Area is a land of brightness created by the courage and unwavering faith of the Guardian. Adventurers will have to display similar virtues and work together to defeat their common foes.

There are 6 types of monsters in the Aurora Area: the Arctic Spirit, Swift Snow Leopard, Big Frost Chimera, Crimson Golem, Icy Soul and Evil Stone Dragon. These are high-level monsters that are not to be trifled with. However, each of them has a specific weakness to the abilities of 1 of the character classes. If players want to stand a chance against all 6 monsters, they will need a varied team.

The maze also features 2 bosses. The Firm Guard watches over Area 1, while Furious Kara presides over Area 2.

Dark Area

This realm is a manifestation of the corruptions in the Guardian’s soul, which has fallen victim to Morpheus’ words of temptation. Players will have to battle against both evil creatures and other players in this world of deceit.

In the Dark Area, players will be split into 2 groups: the escorts and the bandits. The escorts will have to ensure the safe delivery of goods to a specific location on the map. They will not get any rewards if they are killed by monsters or bandits along the way. Sometimes angry customers may even inflict punishments of their own on failed escorts. The job of the bandits, on the other hand, is simple. They will have to hijack these goods by whatever means necessary. This is a test of wit and strength where dangers are concealed by the shadows and no one is safe.

As if this wasn’t enough of a challenge, there are another 2 bosses who can bedevil players. In Area 1, the Vicious Relic Protector stands guard, while the Morpheus Abyss Demon waits in Area 2.

Team Up for Awesome Rewards

The Celtic Heartland’s duality reflects the inner turmoil of the Guardian. It is a place of both light and darkness. Pirates will have to unite and take advantage of a diverse range of abilities if they want to acquire the fantastic treasures hidden inside. Brave souls who take up this challenge and live to tell the tale will be rewarded with high-level equipment.

This is just one of the amazing adventures that players can expect to encounter in ToP II. More hidden gems are waiting to be discovered. Join the ToP II Closed Beta now and discover these treasures for yourself!
