LOS ANGELES, Calif. – November 27, 2017 – A fierce several months of worldwide competition ended over the weekend as Tomato won the 2017 Summoners War Arena Championship beating out Psy! in a best of five series, earning a $20,000 top prize and distinction as the world’s best summoner. In addition to the onstage competition, fans onsite had the opportunity to experience the Summoners War universe as it came to life throughout the day. Ranging from troupes of cosplayers to in-depth experiential activations in a mini-theme park setting, the event transcended the notion of a traditional esports event and provided consumers a comprehensive entertainment experience for the weekend.
