Holding a respectable top ten position for the last few weeks, Star Wars: The Old Republic orbits all other titles this week to gain the title of most covered product across Europe.

Successfully challenging Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim down a position week on week, the Star Wars: The Old Republic PR campaign looks to have been perfectly timed to coincide with launch week.

Other noteworthy performances are achieved by Activision’s Modern Warfare 3.?Last week’s largest mover, the latest Call of Duty offering jumped 22 places to number 3. This increase in coverage, was mainly down to the new game mode announcement as well as several national and lifestyle press articles appearing.

The PC announcement for Alan Wake was also well received with over 60 different online media outlets covering the story over the last 7 days, allowing the title to secure week 50’s highest new entry, closely followed by Guild Wars 2, with their closed beta announcement.

The chart is compiled from counted activities across all formats within 239 media outlets across Europe, with more being added over the next quarter. It is expected that media outlets included will double in size in the new year. PR activities are monitored from lifestyle, national and specialist press as well as online coverage also being counted.
