Size Five Games Announces“Ben There, Dan That! Special Edition”

London, September 2011

Award-winning indie studio Size Five Games , the minds behind controversial Sex Ed Shoot-‘em-Up“Privates” and the underground hit“Dan and Ben” point-and-click adventures have announced a special re-release of the game that started it all,“Ben There, Dan That!”

“We’ve George Lucased it right up” Dan Marshall proudly exclaimed.“I was never happy with the final version of Ben There, Dan That!, so it’s been an absolute pleasure to tinker with it and get it ship-shape.”

As well as a visual coat of gloss, the Special Edition has a full soundtrack for the first time, and a host of additional little bits and bobs.

“There’s even Special Features, in the form of a gloriously tactile 16-page‘Making of’ booklet called Lowering the Tone, and a never-before-told storybook video reading of the events that led to Dan being found dead in the middle of the Peruvian jungle.”

“Fans will be pleased to hear I managed to resist making any of the characters suddenly shout NOOOOOOOOO.”

Ben There, Dan That! and its sequel Time Gentlemen, Please! launched in 2008 and 2009 to rave reviews and critical acclaim. They’re widely considered to be among the best post-LucasArts ere Point-and-Click adventure games available, with Wired calling Time Gentlemen, Please!“an indie masterpiece”.

Ben There, Dan That! Special Edition is available RIGHT NOW, under a trendy“pay what you want” scheme, for Windows PCs. Steam users who already purchased the game should hopefully see a free update soon.
