ROADHOUSE INTERACTIVE ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH SOUTH KOREA’S RED PIG GAMES; GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION DEAL THROUGH THE PLAYPHONE NETWORK

*FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

VANCOUVER, BC November 29 th 2013. Roadhouse Interactive Ltd is pleased to announce that it will adapt and publish Shooting Cows, an exciting physics-based arcade puzzle game from South Korea’s Red Pig Games, on a global basis.

Shooting Cows will make its international debut on the PlayPhone network, which boasts a potential reach of over 800 million subscribers around the world.

The relationship with Red Pig Games stems directly from Roadhouse’s participation in a mission sponsored by the BC International Trade and Investment Office to the G-Star 2012 trade show in Busan. Red Pig Games was formed by a group of veteran South Korean game developers.

James Hursthouse, Roadhouse Interactive’s CEO, said “We are keen to partner with great developers from around the world and adapt awesome games from one market to another.  South Korea is a hotbed of great development talent. It’s great to be able to bring the game to a broad global audience.”

Teresa Wat, British Columbia’s Minister of International Trade, said, “We are very happy to see this collaboration between Canadian and Korean companies. British Columbia has a long history of supporting and hosting innovative game developers drawn here by our strategic location between Asia and the vibrant North American market for their products.”

In Shooting Cows, players navigate their way through 120 environments, both on earth and in outer space, as they help a group of cows defend their milk from hordes of invading aliens! The game uses an engaging and familiar slingshot game play mechanic and offers a range of characters and un-lockable mini games.

Shooting Cows will be launched globally in multiple formats and on several platforms over the next few months, with PlayPhone as the first major distribution channel. PlayPhone partners with global telecom carriers such as Verizon, AT&T and SingTel.

“PlayPhone is thrilled to be working with Roadhouse and believe that Shooting Cows is a fantastic game that will appeal to our global gaming community," said Anders Evju, CMO of PlayPhone. "We're looking forward to distributing Shooting Cows across our Carrier Game Stores that include over 800+ million customers."
