Public Statement - Recreated ZX Spectrum

Public Statement

The Recreated ZX Spectrum

A commercial dispute arose between Elite Systems Ltd (‘Elite’) and Ceratech

Accuratus Ltd (‘Ceratech’) in 2015/2016.

On the 10th of March 2017 Elite and Ceratech entered into a full and final

settlement agreement resolving all commercial terms.

Both parties can now assure customers of the availability of the Recreated ZX

Spectrum and all associated apps and games.

The Recreated ZX Spectrum is the only full-size recreation of the 1980s’ Sinclair ZX Spectrum which enables many popular games to be played as they were originally.

Ceratech is one of the oldest British registered manufacturers of input devices

and peripherals and now has over 500 different models available. In 1981,

Ceratech began to manufacture and distribute products within the UK, Europe

and the United States before opening a branch office in Paris. The main product portfolio covers EPOS, Gaming, Industrial and Office Peripherals.

Elite was incorporated in England in 1984 and was originally a leading developer and publisher of ground-breaking games for the Sinclair Spectrum and Commodore 64 home computer systems. Today Elite is not only a highlyspecialised developer and publisher of game software products for mobile and other devices, it’s also the designer and distributor of innovative hardware devices.
