A little piece of UK Videogame history is made today– Having been working undercover for 18 years, legendary Underwater Agent JAMES POND resurfaces in his new title - JAMES POND in the DEATHLY SHALLOWS for iOS devices.

? JAMES POND’s arch enemy, the evil DOCTOR MAYBE has once again?overtaken the ruthless megacorporation, ACME OIL CO, and is filling the oceans with toxic waste. The British Intelligence Service (codename FI5H) has hired James Pond to find and cap the leaking oil pipes, and destroy Doctor Maybe’s oil rig, once and for all. POND will have to find his way through a tricky underwater maze while contending with some nasty sea creatures, falling rocks, mines and other hazards. POND will not be unarmed, though - his trusty BUBBLE GUN will be at hand to seal his foes in special impenetrable air bubbles.
Pond will also need to manage his air supply– too liberal use of the BUBBLE GUN or too much flying above the surface will rapidly deplete Pond’s air canisters and he will need to collect more from the clams scattered on the sea bed, or from pick-ups along the way. One thing’s for sure, it won’t be plain sailing for our favourite aquatic secret agent…
The gameplay is a deliciously familiar mixture of arcade styles,?bringing elements of the first James Pond titles together with some classic arcade games. Publisher SPECIAL MOVE GAMES is already planning a series of updates to further enhance the game with more baddies, more gameplay, and a few surprises…
