Presales begin for gamescom: online tickets from as little as 6 euros

The online shop for gamescom, the new European trade show and entertainment highlight for the interactive entertainment industry, is now open for trade visitors and the general public. Buying tickets online is a piece of cake: after registering and paying on www.gamescom.de, the e-tickets can be simply printed out, and you can sail into the show, bypassing the ticket offices, with no need to queue. But the best thing about it is that buying your admission tickets online in advance can save you up to 25 per cent on the regular price. At the same time, it gives holders free travel on the transport networks in and around Cologne of operators VRS and VRR. Students and gamers can buy tickets for the premiere of gamescom from 20 to 23 August 2009 in Cologne for as little as 6 euros. Since gamescom brings together all target groups of the interactive entertainment industry - from hard-core gamers to the growing community of casual players, parents accompanied by up to three children can also plunge into the world of gaming with a family ticket. The advance ticket price for trade visitors is 25.50 euros.
