Four-day Casual Connect USA conference and pre-conference events featured over 250 speakers, non-stop networking and Indie Prize Seattle winners
SEATTLE, USA – Aug 10, 2017 | Casual Connect USA 2017, the International trade event for the video games industry hosted by Computer Games Association (CGA), just completed yet another successful show at Benaroya Hall in Seattle.
This year Casual Connect USA offered nine different tracks in four lecture halls on August 1-3: Industry Insights, Casino, Market Navigation, The Business of Games, Design & Development, Design Innovator, Next-Gen, Growth, and Audio. Two special events were held on July 31: LiveOps Connect and United in Diversity. Casual Connect also partnered with IGDA for its recurring mentorship program – this time bringing IGDA’s Mentor Cafe to the show.
Over 250 speakers from companies including RealNetworks, Resolution Games, Roblox, Glu Mobile, VentureBeat, Electronic Arts, Team17, Devolver Digital, tinyBuild, Execution Labs, Novomatic Greentube, Ruby Seven Studios, Tropicana Entertainment, Spin Games, Eilers & Krejcik Gaming, Product Madness, GameCo, Gamblit Gaming, Leet, The Downtown Grand, Skydance Interactive, Google and many more shared their experience and industry insights.

The international Indie Prize scholarship program funded by CGA gave indie developers a platform to present their games in its showcase. The best and brightest developers were awarded in nine categories – with the winners being announced at the 19th Indie Prize Awards on August 3 at Casual Connect USA 2017.
