Cambridge, UK – May 8, 2017 – PlayFusion, an innovative independent game, technology and robotics company and creator of Lightseekers – a ground-breaking new platform that connects video games, smart action figures, augmented reality trading cards, and more – has launched the Lightseekers Trading Card Game. In partnership with TOMY®, the global master toy licensee, the augmented reality trading cards are playable as a physical, standalone game and can be used to enhance gameplay within the Lightseekers mobile game. The game is available for download in the US, UK, and Canada in the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Amazon App Store.
Lightseekers, which showcases more than 350 printed cards at launch, allows players to take control of a hero and use an arsenal of cards, featuring spells, creatures, items, and locations, to defeat their opponents. Each card is scannable by the Lightseekers mobile game to unlock in-game effects such as new spells, boosts, or even followers that will fight alongside you!
The game is quick and easy to learn, but also provides great depth for advanced players who wish to experiment with deck building and tactical play using unique mechanics. The card game is intended for two players, but supports as many players as you wish. Games typically last between 10-15 minutes, but can vary based on deck complexity, skill level, and number of players.

Playing the game
The heroes of the game use a specific branch or subset of magical energy, which is referred to as an ‘Order’. There are six known Orders that equate to six different playstyles.
Each Order contains three ‘Elements’ that generally break down the gameplay to a specific style: aggressive, defensive, or utility-based.
Players can deliver damage or receive healing over time by using powerful rotating buffs, sacrifice cards needed to play devastating combo attacks and build the ultimate deck using items that allow them to play cards across Orders.
