NIKITA ONLINE Celebrated the Third Anniversary of Russian Karos Online

11 th of November 2013, Moscow — Seoul. — Several million of gamers joined online and offline festivities organized by Russian publisher NIKITA ONLINE to celebrate the third anniversary of MMORPG Karos Online in Russia.   

A popular Korean-made MMORPG Karos Online ( http://karos.gamexp.ru/), also known as Rosh Online, was launched in Russia, CIS and the Baltic states three years ago. The game swiftly managed to win local gamers’ heart and resulting its first year on the new market outpaced South Korean, US, Turkish and Latin-American versions in terms of revenue. Currently Russian Karos is keeping its international leadership at both revenue and CCU.

“In the three years space since we launched Karos Online, our audience has grown more than twice as large — from five to eleven million users,” says NIKITA ONLINE’s Public Relations Manager Pavel Elchenko. “Huge popularity of Karos Online is one of the driving factors behind this impressive upturn. I’m sure that even more users are yet to find their new home in the virtual universe of Karos. To leave no gamer unconcerned NIKITA ONLINE held a week of online celebrations with special rates and in-game gifts for each and every Karos’ fan. The celebration was concluded on an offline basis in one of Moscow pubs. All guests were presented with branded Karos souvenirs and were granted an opportunity to try their luck in winning special prizes from Dr.Web. A presentation unveiling the future planned for Karos Online by the game’s creators from GalaxyGate made the evening’s central event. Korean developers also extended their warm congratulations to Russian gamers.

The closest global update for Karos called Confrontation is scheduled to release in this year’s December. It will divide players in two rival fractions and bring new mounts, items, and, last but not least, new powerful bosses to the game. Another large-scale update will take Russian Karos to even a higher level in the next summer.
