New York– July 23, 2012– TreSensa announced today the launch of its new platform for mobile and social developers to create single and multiplayer games that are compatible with all devices. With the support of a $1.0m angel round of funding, the new company will provide cross-platform and multiplayer technology and services that let producers focus on their game’s fun and creativity, lower the time and expense of game development, and expose new, innovative channels for game discovery and monetization.
TreSensa was co-founded by former Tremor Video executives Rob Grossberg and Vincent Obermeier, along with former Codewalla CEO Rakesh Raju. The company, based in New York and with an R&D team in Pune, India, will provide support for the entire life cycle of game development, and will help optimize profit potential for independent developers and game studios of all sizes.
