New board game based on American Civil War released on iOS

Motion 9 Studios announces the release of their latest gamelsquo;Total Dominancersquo;, the next generation table top mobile strategy board game on iPhone/iPod/iPad.

Los Angeles, CA, September 24, 2013ndash; Motion 9 Studios announces the release of Total Dominance, a brand new iOS game now available in App Store.

Total Dominance, which is available on the iPhone, iPod and iPad, is based onlsquo;Six Men Morrisrsquo;ndash; a two player strategy board game. Six Men Morris was a popular game in Italy, France and England during the Middle Ages but became obsolete by the seventeenth century.

Total Dominance is set against the backdrop of the American Civil War. The war, which lasted for four years between 1861 and 1865, was fought between the Confederates (represented in red) and the Union (represented in blue). Soldiers from both of the belligerents take the place of the coins that were originally used in Six Men Morris.

Total Dominance offers two exciting game modes. Players who are new to the game can practice with AI players (of varying difficulty) to learn the rules and strategy of the game. The main game mode, however, is online battle. Online battle is a real time, turn based multiplayer game. Players can take on their friends in Game Center or can be matched with random opponents via the match making service from Game Center.

This exciting strategy game is suitable for audiences aged eight plus thanks to its few simple rules and player aims.
