NEOWIZ, extends dates for the global music contest for its rhythm games until February 11th!

p>- Considering the producing environments for the artists, the dates are extended.

- recruiting in two categories, ‘Original Songs’ and/or ‘Cover Songs’, and those who submit videos will receive additional points.

- winning songs will be in ‘DJMAX’ and ‘TAPSONIC’ series

NEOWIZ (CEO Ki Won Lee), announced on December 26th, the extension of the dates for the global contest "YOU X NEOWIZ Music Festival", for its world famous rhythm game franchises, 'DJMAX' & 'TAPSONIC'. The new due date for the "YOU X NEOWIZ Music Festival" is February 11th.

"YOU X NEOWIZ Music Festival" is currently recruiting artists all around the globe who wishes to let their music be known to the world. Winning songs will be presented in 'DJMAX' and 'TAPSONIC' franchise and the winners will have a great opportunity to make a debut to the worldwide audience as a 'DJMAX' and 'TAPSONIC' artist.

The extension of due date for the global music contest was determined after receiving the comments that time given to compose new songs and create videos for the contest was too short. Extension of due date would allow participating artists to have more time to prepare for the contest, and allow artists who have already submitted their application to resubmit their application after more development and revision.

There are no changes to the contest other than the extension of the due date. Participants can apply for two different categories, 'Original Songs' and/or 'Cover Songs', and can apply following the direction at the official website (http://www.muca.world/contest) until February 11th. The participants may submit up to three songs for both categories combined, and there will be additional points for those who submit creative videos to go with the songs.  Vocal covers including 'a cappella' are excluded from the contest.

Sean Kim, the Director of this music contest states, "We have decided to give more time for the participants of the contest, considering the producing environments and time required for production", and added, "Any artists who want to present their creative musical works are welcome to join and participate".
