Mutant Labs announce development of new mobile game: Yak Dash (Horns of Glory) - Friday 16th May

Plymouth, United Kingdom - Indie games studio Mutant Labs are excited to announce the title of our latest mobile game: Yak Dash (Horns of Glory). Inspired by traditional Tibetan yak racing, Yak Dash (Horns of Glory) is a 2D side-scrolling racer that sees you race yaks across perilous mountain ranges at breakneck speeds.

Testing reaction time, skill and bravado, you need to complete each level as fast as possible; smashing obstacles, leaping chasms and discovering shortcuts along the way.

Unlock new levels in the single player campaign, or challenge the world as you compete on social mountains to improve your global ranking, race your friends, and show off your customised Yak setup.

“We’re thrilled to be announcing Yak Dash today,” explained MD Alex Ryley. “It’s a really fun hybrid between a time trial racer and a reaction based runner, all set on the back of charging Yaks. The customization and social side of Yak Dash is going to add a lot of depth to the game and we’ve got some really exciting features planned.”

We will be releasing more development news on our social media channels over the coming months:

We welcome feedback along the way. Thanks for your support! Squonk*!

*Squonk = translation of a yak grunt, the official onomatopoeic word of Yak Dash (Horns of Glory).
