Moon Base Eridani - New Arrivals

London, 23rd Aug 2011, it has been a week since my last transmission, we have been busy preparing the colony for expansion. A basic algae farm has been set up, the high mineral content of the rocks here give the food produced a tangy flavour; but at least it is better than recycled goo served on board the Genesis.?

We won't be hearing from her for a while after this shipment of colonists are delivered. She is going to be making the journey to the other major planet in the system; initial scans have shown that the high tectonic activity have produced some useful elements we can utilize.

Once that mission is complete, and we have gathered enough resources, the planet Haven will be our goal. Each day I look up into the sky to watch our future home, but that will need to wait. I hear the first new arrivals on approach.

Elize Soon ending transmission.

Being set within the same universe as the original game, Moon Base Eridani continues the story of the original game from a very different viewpoint. While Light of Altair focused on the wide interstellar expansion of Humanity into the stars, Moon Base Eridani looks deeper into what it takes to be a colonist in a hostile world.
